The MA Cheese Guild is a dynamic group of Massachusetts cheese lovers : Cheese Eaters (all of us!), Cheese Makers and Cheese Sellers. Among us all, we've got enough questions and information to help us enjoy our cheeses in traditional, creative, and unusual ways. Join us and share, learn, educate, and taste!
Enthusiasts are members of the public who support and encourage artisanal and farmstead production of Massachusetts cheeses--Love to taste it, ask questions about it, learn about it, be the first to know about new cheeses, and want to be involved in the Guild and its events.
Artisans produce artisanal and farmstead cheeses for sale in Massachusetts, using Massachusetts milk. We want to bring you the highest quality cheese made with our hands, and help you learn as much as possible about what we do. We certify that at least 75% of our milk comes from MA.
Trade members are individuals in the food business who support Massachusetts cheese. We are retailers, chefs, vendors, marketers, distributors. We want to share what we know, while learning more and meeting the people who make and love cheese.
Corporate members are companies, such as stores, brokerage groups, magazines, farmers' markets, equippers--who support Massachusetts cheesemaking. We want our employees to learn all they can about local artisanal cheese, how it's made, and who loves it.
Sponsor members are companies that support Massachusetts cheesemaking at the highest level. We want our employees and customers to learn all they can about MA cheese, encouraging the highest level of quality cheese and education for the public.
